I also made changes to the double page spread of my music magazine, such as moving the quote and filling the gap at the top right of the page.
After looking back over my magazine I decided to change the position of the quote on the left page to make it more even.
I then filled the space above the interview section by moving the sections of the interview around. This makes the page look more ordered and also fills in the extra space.
Like the front cover of my music magazine, I have made some minor changes to the contents page.
I was advised to change the colour of the titles of the articles to make the page more interesting, but still allow a colour scheme to be seen. So I changed the titles from white/pink to a dark blue colour.
I then made the description underneath some of the titles shorter, making more room to add a few more articles.
Before.
After.
For my re-submission of this product, I was advised to make a few changes to my front cover, contents page and double page spread.
For my front cover, I have made a few changes to the cover lines.
Before I made the changes, all of the cover lines were the same font, colour and size. Therefore I have changed the font to make the cover look more interesting.
I have also altered the cover lines by making each line a different colour, either red or white, this way it sticks to the colour scheme I created, it also adds to the synergy of the magazine.
Another change I made was the size of the cover lines, making them all a slightly different size, as after doing more research into magazine covers I saw that cover lines are never all the same size and font. I think I have made the front cover of my music magazine look better than it was by changing these small things.
This is my magazine before the changes.
This is the front cover after I made the changes.
